I forgot to take a photo today, so here's outtake. She loves being a dinosaur!
The weather is beginning to turn: in the mornings my bicycle ride to the office is now cold and foggy more often than not, and i know it won't be long before Seattle's famous six months of rain begin. I love this weather, though. Fall is my favorite season.
Today Bea wanted to dress as a dinosaur, and then I asked her if she wanted to take a walk because she was getting STIR CRAZY and she said yes and that is how I wound up walking a dinosaur down the street and looking into storm drains with her while Samuel stared down from my arms in bewilderment.
Samuel has been teething and has a cold and hasn't been his happy self lately… Except when he is. :)
Today Samuel and I jammed on the piano a bit when I got home. It is one of his very favorite things.
We had a date tonight — wine, cheese, and dessert at the Pom Bar. It was splendid.
I had Samuel sit up in the tub for the first time today. He LOVED it. And he loved it even more when Bea brought him bath toys. :)
Uno is practically a tradition in my family, so it was with delight that I helped Bea learn the game today when she brought it to me. We played open hands and only a few rounds, but she actually gets the basic concepts (taking turns, matching color or number, etc.). Family Uno games are coming soon! (BONUS PICTURE: Bea and Momma are silly.)
