Sibes no more…

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

Saturday, September 27th was a beautifully sunny autumn day here in the Seattle area and the perfect day for Carrie and Dan’s wedding. As promised, here are some highlights from the day:

We all went to have our hair/make-up done at Aveda

Carrie's almost finished! by you.

Julie, lookin' hot by you.

Did you know they set your hair? They do. Ever want to look like your grandma did every week of her life, go to Aveda!

April and Kelly in the midst of prep by you.

Then we went back to Carrie’s place for some lunch and hang out time before the wedding. Oh, and to see Frankie.

Carrie & Frankie by you.

We headed out to the church and got Carrie all ready to see Dan!

She's all dressed! by you.

My Momma was there. She made dozens of beautiful arrangements (with help from Mrs. H-Hey Mrs. H!)

It's my mom and Mrs. H! by you.

With our flowers! by you.

Before the ceremony, we had some time to kill, so we took some photos of our “classic” poses/faces.

And pretended to be JLo and Posh:

Posing by you.

Then it was time to be serious and get these kids married for good. The ceremony was beautiful. Carrie was radiant, I only cried a little and Dan only almost caught on fire-good thing he felt that candle flame warming his arm-April and I were ready if necessary though!

Now they’re in Hawaii. I hope they are eating pineapple and coconut and maybe see a volcano!

Hooray for Dan and Carrie Potter! Praise the Lord for bringing you together in such a lovely way!

Our wedding photographer-who is AWESOME has finished the photos and they are available for online viewing at sarahcraigphoto.smugmug.com. (password is McPherson and is case-sensitive.) She did an amazing job of capturing the wedding and just us and our families together. There are a little over 700 photos, so if you elect to use the slideshow option it will take about an hour. Enjoy!

**if you’ve taken photos and posted them anyplace, please let us know. We’d love to see them!
