I really appreciate the 194 route that runs from Federal Way to Seattle down Pacific Highway. That is the best route to people watch. If you have nothing to do, 4 hours to burn, and want some entertainment. Get on down to the Federal Way Transit Center and ride the 194. Its great fun for the whole family. :-)

You know, Seattle's public transportation used to frustrate me, because I felt like it was being forced upon people by bureaucrats who refused to actually relieve congestion. That said, I also enjoyed taking the bus occasionally, because it got me up and taking a nice brisk walk in the morning, followed by some time to relax and read, before work each day (and really helped wake me up).

It's also been an odd adjustment for me to get accustomed to Allentown's public transportation, which leaves much to be desired. The Lanta (Allentown bus) website is pretty terrible, and the route maps are completely unhelpful if you are not familiar with the area. And, for shame, the buses here are not on Google maps! It's become apparent to us that being a one-car household in this area is far greater a challenge than it was in Seattle. Not entirely sure how we're going to address that one yet.

. . . Chris keeps trying to convince me to let him get a vespa. Not going to happen.
