Awesome. I am so glad it was a great experience. I am trying not to be mad at boys who don't train and only run 4 miles and can run a half marathon. Whatever. But great job both of you!

Kelly, you are wonderful! I love your zeal for life. You exude the joy of the Lord! I think it would be fun (yes, actually FUN) to run that half-marathon in Woodinville with you. I used to be a runner but sadly my knees also give me heck now when I try to run. Boo!

I love the pictures, especially the ones of you crossing the finish line.

Thanks Anna. I really think anyone could do it, they just have to be too stubborn to stop training!

Oh Sarah, I see what you mean! It was kind of this twisty path they created for participants to pick up their bib numbers then their gear bags and head out to the expo area (where our photo was taken). I think they wanted to keep the traffic flowing in one direction. Also, there wasn't an exit that way so they didn't want people wandering back in the general area to get out-corral us through the expo so we can buy more running gear/flavored water/snacks/candy stuff. :-) But I agree that it's a funny way to word the sign!

Conagrats! What an accomplishment. Running that far is something I will never have the desire to do, but I can sure understand your pride in finishing. Way to go!

Oh, and did you notice the sign (in the background of the "It's Official" photo ) that says "Not an Entrance, No exit"? :-) Um, what is it then? Guess that's just my random sense of humor.
